At Display
Week today, Tianma NLT introduced the display with the world's highest pixel
density: 847 pixels per inch (ppi). The 10.4-inch LCD has a
resolution of 4320 x 7680 pixels -- four times as many as a UHD-TV set -- a
1000:1 contrast ratio, and a luminance of 400 nits. The display is a technology
demonstration for now, but Tianma suggested tablets as a possible application.
Is this
really the most pixel-dense display in the world? "To the best of my
knowledge," said Tianma NLT's Omid Milani.
